With the time that I had, decided to redesign the site and post up some videos of miscellaneous footage from LA area. The beat I put up is from way back when (?) but just a taste of the kind of stuff I’m working on. Also will be putting out new material including Disturbing Radio Frequencies 2 along with new beats this month. Lookout for it!
An art/fashion documentary I became interested in by PBS that featured artists including the songwriter Yuna from Fader Label, street artist WK Interact, skateboard deck and apparel designers 5boro, painter and toy designer Tara McPherson, and artist Casey Spooner of Fischerspooner.

Producer A Pinch of Mars (APOM) out of Las Vegas recently just released a mix that features a lot of his new material as well as beats from assorted unorthodox artists/producers, including my remix of Rusko’s Hold On. We will be working on some stuff in the new future (count on it APOM!) but in the mean time grab a drink, listen and don’t take life too seriously.

Stopped by Fuku Burger’s private opening a couple days ago in Hollywood. Great location and the foods just as good from the original truck. Check it out: 1634 Cahuenga Los Angeles, CA
The quality of the art and music is what I dig. Process, one of the most important things to an artist that the general society is not able to see or understand. The work that goes into making an idea a reality can be complex, which is shown in this video. (Kudos!)
Live Beyond Craft, a motto I picked up since my move to OC/LA – meaning to never settle for less, do more than whats expected. Its a pretty exhausting thing to continue and grow in… anything. If you love it, let the passion kick in and continue it. The days always seem on the move, finding a place to work, eat, and LIVE. As these things seem to come together for me, I finally had time to update my personal design website. New works from LA projects to recent works from Las Vegas are all able to view now. Did a little layout adjustments as well. Thanks to all supporters! http://lucasybarra.com
Documentary of Pharrell going back to Japan, and really focusing on the correct details of what happend on 3/11. Having live there with family, the event created a surreal reality questioning everything from politics to lifestyle. Hopefully the depth of this series will broaden more perspectives.
